Finalist Spotlight - Yasmin Black
In the lead up to the Miss Hampshire & IOW finals on March 12th, we thought it would good to show off our amazing finalists and let you know what they are all about.First up, we have Yasmin Black, who's 21 and a Sales Executive from the Isle of Wight, now living in Marlow.
Tell us about your occupation?
"I work for a computer software company and manage all external and internal sales."
What are your hobbies and ambitions?
"I am a keen dancer and enjoying spending time exercising when free. I am obsessed with my job and working in general. I successfully hold down to intense jobs and enjoy every minute of it. I am involved a lot in raising awareness for The MPS Society which supports children and families with MPS related diseases."
Who is your role model?
"My role model would be me a mixture between my dad, who has the most incredible work ethic and would put anyone and anything before himself to ensure people have a smile upon their face. My second role model is Amy Willerton for the incredible awareness she has raised for her brother. She is a strong woman and ambition she has for supporting her brother is incredible."
What is the craziest thing you've done?
"I was the face of Vodafone and flew out to Spain to film the advert which I starred in."
Why would you be a good representative for your county?
"I think I would be a good representative for my county as not only am I incredibly hard working, but I care so much for people and their success around me. I would ensure that my drive for a career and caring for others is reflected in my work as Miss Hampshire. Make one person smile a day, can give the drive for a person to help as many as possible and that is my aim."
