Finalist Spotlight - Sarita Virdee
In the lead up to the Miss Hampshire & IOW finals on March 12th, we thought it would good to show off our amazing finalists and let you know what they are all about. Next we have Sarita Virdee, who's 23 and a Legal Assistant & Law Student from Southampton.
Tell us about your occupation?
Studying law I was fortunate enough to get a job as a legal assistant part time. I carry out many duties such as shadowing lawyers, attending court and learning the legal data base.
What are your hobbies and ambitions?
My ambitions have always been to make my grand parents proud and to be a successful woman. I have many hobbies, my first one being the gym! I love to keep fit and healthy, I train twice a day. Another hobby of mine would be modelling, I have previously modelled for Indian bridal magazines. I also love swimming and love to sing.
Who is your role model? My role model would be my mum. Strong independent and has made me the woman I am today.
What is the craziest thing you've done?
The craziest thing I have done would be pushing my mums BMW from one side of town all the way to the other (to my house) because she had broken down! Its not the craziest thing but to me it was crazy! Made me feel like the rock (Dwayne Johnson)!!
Why would you be a good representative for your county?
I believe I would be a good representative for my county because I am a strong confident woman, very driven and focussed in doing my best and it would be a honour to represent my county and to just show that hard work pays off and you can really achieve your dreams.
