Fundraising for the Memusi Foundation

On Friday I attended Bookers & Bolton Garden Party in Alton, Hampshire and raised £180 for BWAP and the Memusi Foundation!

Bookers & Bolton are a main sponsor of the Miss Hampshire competition, and have been so supportive in my entire reign so far. Senior Partner Gideon Cristofoli has been a judge of Miss England himself and his partner, and Miss Hampshire Director Paula Langley, also of Abbeyfield Films and Practice Manager of Bookers & Bolton has also been involved in the national competition many times. You can actually purchase Paula’s films from the finals here: https://abbeyfieldfilm.vhx.tv/browse/packages/miss-england-2014-the-final

The firm hosted a lovely garden party with wine and nibbles to celebrate the summer on a glorious sunny evening and invited myself and Miss Basingstoke Nicola Ascroft along to fundraise for charity. The last Miss England Crown Charity Challenge was to fundraise for the Memusi Foundation – a charity who believes passionately in the education and right that every person has to free education.

Memusi build its foundations with four pillars in each of schools it provides – quality education, healthcare, working with communities and sustainability models. Find out more here: http://www.memusifoundation.org.uk/what-we-do

I held a charity raffle where the prizes were bottle of Prosecco and a meal for two at the Alton House Hotel – the venue of Miss Hampshire since 2013. Thank you to Property Information Exchange for their donations of Prosecco and to the Alton House Hotel for their generous meal donation.

I had a great time meeting and greeting everyone and can’t thank Paula, Gideon and Nicola enough for their help and time.
