Change is afoot for the Miss Hampshire blog. While I have loved detailing and documenting my amazing journey in Miss Hampshire and Miss England, all good things have to come to an end. Plus I am now ineligible to compete in Miss England as I turned 25 in June, making me too old to enter. I think after reaching the finals three times though, enough was enough despite really enjoying myself.

So, what to do with the blog? Well I will still be Miss Hampshire until I hand my title over in 2016 so there is still time for me to use my title, and I plan on covering the modelling and pageant industry as well. If anyone wants to contribute or has a modelling or pageant competition I’d be interested in writing about it.

I’m not sure if I will enter any other competitions. After being loyal to the Miss England organisation for so many years I need to evaluate which other great contests are out there and if they suit me and my platform. But in the meantime I am super busy with work as a marketing manager, editor and journalist, and I’m enjoying my new life in South West London with my boyfriend.

For now I’ll also be blogging on fashion, beauty and lifestyle as I love fashion and I’d like to have an excuse to try out new products and experiment with my look a little more!

For now here’s a little taster – I’ll be blogging on 10 Autumn Must-Haves shortly, and one of them is this oh-so fluffy seventiesinspired long-line jacket from River Island. Perfect for transitional weather and the office, in a neutral tone that goes with everything, this is definitely a piece the rest of my wardrobe is working with a lot right now.
