Top 10 Items To Covet This Autumn
It's now Autumn and after a seasonal clear out of my vast wardrobe, as well as ditching the bronzing products in favour of a more seasonal beauty look, it is time to look at some of the must-have favourite items of mine to covet for October-December 2015.
1. L.K. Bennett Cashmere
A while back I modelled L.K. Bennett for a charity benefit evening and I kind of wanted to steal all the clothes. Their autumn collection doesn’t disappoint and I am craving a cashmere cape in a dreamy cream. I’ll probably need to find a cheap knock off version elsewhere, unless L.K. Bennett fancy gifting one to a former model….
2. River Island Seventies Jacket
Right now I am on the hunt for a cosy winter coat. However, I still get baking hot on my commute and with the temperature still creeping into the mid to high teens, I have to face the possibility of not quite needing my warm ball of protection from the frosty climate just yet, or be the sweaty mess boarding the 7.28 with makeup dripping down my cheeks. So a good transitional jacket was in order and River Island had a wonderful camel coloured line long jacket. Very seventies, with a detachable fur trim, I can wear it to the office without the fur as a smart jacket, or make it casual with a baggy tee and torn jeans for the weekend. Currently the fur trim is on and off every five minutes because of the classic British weather. Unfortunately for the life of me I cannot find the jacket now, and it was selling out pretty fast in the shops so maybe it is gone forever. However, River Island has a very similar ribbed material version for around the same price here, so no need to panic.

3. Next Ankle Boots
Another fashion must-have I’ve already got round to buying is these Next casual ankle boots. Sounds super nerdy, but I needed a waterproof pair after too many incidents with ballet pumps, puddles and potential trench foot symptoms. Affordable and classic, these ankle boots are super comfy and are the perfect length for the ankle so they don’t cut you off and make you look shorter.

4. ASOS Suede Shirt
My good friend Halcyon Velvet is seriously coveting this amazing suede shirt by ASOS right now and I am just uber annoyed I didn’t see it first as she’s got her mitts on it before me! While I love suede, it mainly comes in classic colours such as camel, creams and beiges, so this dress is refreshing and vibrant without being too loud.

5. Oasis Skirt
I’m also probably not adventurous enough yet to quite pull off a full suede number, so I will stick to smaller nods towards trends this season with this Oasis skirt. So easy and versatile to wear, it also smartens up baggy jumpers and boots for the weekend and if your office allows skirts a little on the casual side, it could look great with a pussybow blouse and loafers.
6. Asos Playsuit
Back to ASOS for now. I was frantically looking for an outfit to wear to Stylist Live (look out for my next blog) and luckily brand new into ASOS was this lovely little playsuit. Stretchy and so comfy to wear, it really is a great way to pull off slightly dressier daytime looks without being too revealing - plus the pattern is so autumnal.
7. Benefit Instant Comeback Serum
I went a bit Benefit mad a few weeks back and one of the freebies I was given to say thanks for spending all my wages at their counter was their Instant Comeback Serum. Seriously, I am a massive makeup sceptic after suffering with problem skin in my mid-twenties for some time now, but actually this stuff works! I definitely could see that my skin was glowing more underneath my foundation and powder, so I have been very impressed. Now we are moving into colder climbs, and no longer rely on bronzed cheeks, I would recommend this product to help make skin more dewy and appealing.

8. Benefit Eye Kits
What I actually went into Benefit for was there amazing eyeshadow box sets. I love that all the complimenting colours are all neatly packaged together in a lovely box, and that you get instructions on different day and evening looks. Basically, these eyeshadow kits are the bomb! I went for the "Most Glamorous Nudes Ever" kit as I don’t wear too many colourful eyeshadows. This has worked its way into my minimal work day make up routine and brightened up my Monday morning eyes no problem.

9. The Body Shop Spa Fit Toning Concentrate
I’ve been a Body Shop fan for a number of years as the smells and feel of their products are luxurious for a fraction of what you’d pay elsewhere. While I still haven’t completely forgiven them for discontinuing my favourite chocaholic body butter, the numerous discounts they offer on their weekly newsletter make up for it. A recent addition to The Body Shop product line is their Spa Fit Toning Concentrate. Ironic because it is derived from citrus extracts, and we all know what the back of the thighs resemble, so I was initially not sure. However, again, I did notice a difference in a small matter of time. I have to remember to keep applying this stuff daily and in a proper motion, and there are proper complimentary items to help maintain the newfound smoothness of your former wobbly bits, so check it all out here.

10. My Topshop Wardrobe
This isn’t so much a must-have but a must-do. Topshop have just launched their new wardrobe application which after a quick quiz evaluates your style and searches the site for outfits for your taste. It is seriously good and seriously dangerous for your bank balance. Plus it allows you to see what sort of risks you might like, as well as offers your traditional bank of styles too.
Please let me know what you are loving this season!
